Delaware Native Heather Robb Premiere’s “Believers”
Mouths to Ears was written in private and you can feel its intimacy. It was created with a sense of liberation and you can feel its relief. Heather found her perfect musical partner in LA-based producer Narducci who, with the help of Pete Lalish (Lucius), Dominic Thiroux (Kamasi Washington) and Raky Sastri (You Won’t), brought these songs from demo to master without losing any of their unique essence. The result is a small but precious offering that feels raw and polished at the same time without any pretense. “The director and I didn’t want this video to feel timestamped by the pandemic, so we came up with a concept that allowed for a very safe, distanced shoot while still capturing the emotion of the song. ‘Believers’ explores the tension between emotional intimacy and physical distance, so the approach really worked.
