Tha Carter V is the 12th studio album by one of the most prolific rappers of our time – yep – Lil Wayne. The album was initially delayed due to some contractual issues between Weezy and Cash Money Records. Cash Money ended up releasing Lil Wayne from his contract and Tha Carter V dropped in September of 2018. After its debut at number one on the Billboard 200, 20 (of the 23) tracks were leaked online.
Today, in honor of Tunechi’s 38th birthday, Mack Maine announced that the original Carter V, the “OGCV,” will drop THIS Friday, September 25th (after gifting him an amethyst 2020 McLaren 720S, naturally).
