Starting on Friday June 12th, restaurants will be reopening their doors for foodies all around Philly as they are now allowed to start offering some outdoor dining options. Outdoor dining locations will include patios, decks, backyards, sidewalk seating, closed off sidewalks and other unique arrangements to ensure safety, health and social distancing. Since Friday is quickly approaching, we have compiled a list of the top 18 restaurants for outdoor dining in Philly. Best of Philly Winner Harper’s Garden – Philadelphia’s all-season, plant filled al fresco oasis in the heart of Rittenhouse neighborhood – will open on June 12th and will nearly double the outdoor capacity with an expansion that will take-over the adjacent outdoor property to the South. This urban oasis in the heart of Northern Liberties will re-open in time for outdoor dining this weekend – this is an entirely outdoor restaurant with table seats, full bar, full food menu, plants and flowers, beautiful lighting and an escape without leaving the city. To start, the menu will be appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, wings, bar favorites, and entrees. Elevated dishes from their “standard” menu will be added closer to July.

Le Virtu will be one of the largest locations for outdoor dining for East Passyunk – Philadelphia’s restaurant row! El Camino Real Restaurant will open their sidewalk seating in the middle of the open-air picturesque Liberties Walk with beer garden-style seating (where you order from stations and they will bring food out to the tables). El Camino Real has a full dining menu with lots of frozen cocktails for the hot weekends to come. They will be serving frozen pineapple margaritas in fresh pineapples this weekend in addition to their regular speciality cocktails.
