Norwegian singer-songwriter Ane Brun has been keeping busy! In March, she released her music video for “Don’t Run and Hide” exclusively on Billboard.com, in May she performed on Paste Magazine’s livestream ‘The Happiest Hour,’ and just a few days ago, she debuted a brand new video for her song “Take Hold Of Me.”

When discussing her latest single, Brun says, “I try to describe an existential complex state of mind. An abstract feeling, and something that I’ve felt come and go through the years. And in some ways, in this time of the pandemic, it’s being emphasized even more. A feeling that things are on hold, that life is not lived to its full potential, and that the bigger questions are so present right there on the surface.” Ane Brun’s next studio album is set to be released this fall via her own imprint, Balloon Ranger Records.
