When This Is Over Who Do You Want To Play A Show With? My band. March 13th was supposed to be Hannah Taylor & the Rekardo Lee Trio closing down our homemade of The Thirsty Soul in South Philly. It was a sad/joyous occasion that got squashed.
First public place you want to go to after quarantine? I haven’t been in a store since March 12th and I really want to get flowers to plant on the patio…I’ll be spending the summer there (it appears) and it’s a bit barren without flowers.
First activity you will do after quarantine? Drink my first draft beer since March 10. I’m not some huge beer enthusiast or anything, but do you remember how good a cold draft beer tastes?
Have you embraced cocktail hour? What’s your favorite cocktail? I have and I’m eternally grateful to Philadelphia Distilling for delivering me a bottle of Bluecoat Gin so I can drink Negronis. My buddy Britt also got through to the PLCB sight and got me some Campari. First world issues – resolved!
Where should we be donating our dollars to help out our fellow Philadelphians? My wife and I support PAWS animal rescue… remember the animals. Lastly, make sure you subscribe to local news sources; we subscribe to the Inquirer because without local news sources we’re all in deep trouble. Even with the concert industry dead in the water, I will keep my Inquirer subscription.
What’s your favorite jawn? Since I can’t go to the gym, I’ve spent my time exploring the trails in the park. It’s a suicide mission to go walk on the Drives, so you have to find the quieter trails and go out early in the morning. We’re so lucky to have Fairmount Park.
