What’s The Best Thing You’ve Binged recently? All three seasons of True Detective. I’ve seen them all before but I watched them as they were released and there were a few years in between all of them, so I’ve re-fallen in love with the show. Some incredible acting and some of my favorite TV characters of all time.

Which Philadelphia Restaurant Should We Get Takeout From? Lucky’s Last Chance or DanDan. Lucky’s just opened back up for takeout after being closed for a few weeks and it makes me feel alive again…burgers and fries galore! I’m also a massive sucker for spicy food, the hotter the better, so I’ve been getting sichuan from DanDan.

Which Philly bands should we be listening to? There’s been a TON of great new music from Philly artists I’ve been listening to: Barney Cortez‘s new singles, all of the new singles from American Trappist‘s upcoming album, Slomo Sapiens‘ new album, Tiger Castle‘s new self titled EP, Matt Vantine has a few new singles, and Lauren Davish has a great new tune too. Other Philly artists I always dip back into are Dominy and Trash Boy.

Which Non-Philly bands should we be listening to?

Kevin Daniel out of NYC and Lorena Leigh out of TX – both really nice and inspiring people we had the pleasure to play with when they were in Philly last year. Others I’ve been jamming a lot are Dan Luke and the Raid, Anna of the North, Mini Mansions, and The Lemon Twigs.

When This Is Over Who Do You Want To Play A Show With? Really anyone! We just miss playing so much…we’d love to play with any of the bands or artists I mentioned previously. We did have a few shows that got cancelled with Tiger Castle, Mighty Joe Castro and the Gravamen, RedTouchBlack, Matt Vantine, and Andorra…so we’d love to have make up dates with everyone too!

First public place you want to go to after quarantine? There’s a coffee shop around the corner from my place in Manayunk called Pilgrim Roasters that I miss dearly. I also really miss bellying up to the bar at Lucky’s. Probably one of those two!

First activity you will do after quarantine? Get back together with the band and practice, form new songs, and hopefully go to the studio again this year.

Have you embraced cocktail hour? What’s your favorite cocktail? A firm embrace! My favorite cocktail is a classic Manhattan or just Mezcal on ice

Where should we be donating our dollars to help out our fellow Philadelphians? Valley Youth House is a local organization that makes a huge difference in this area. They work with young folks during very pivotal phases of their lives to provide housing, education, guidance, and skill development to help them build foundations as they age into their adult lives. Aside from that, supporting your local restaurants and businesses can positively impact the community.
